About

I find the finest examples of local experiences and tell their stories with pictures and words. Whether it’s meeting an artisanal cheesemaker in Italy who preserves a centuries-old practice, a championship canoe paddler in Kauai who happens to be blind, or discovering ancient ruins in Montenegro, I seek out fascinating people and places you’re unlikely to hear about otherwise. I focus on independent, comfortable travel with a distinctive spirit of place. My passions include: food and wine, and the people making them; adding culture to cruising; unknown talented artisans; living aloha, and all things Italian.

With degrees in Political Science, French, and Spanish, research and travel are important to me. After owning a successful finance company for eleven years, I traded my calculator for a camera in 2011 to concentrate on fine art photography. My work has been displayed at the Tampa Artists Emporium, the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, the Minneapolis Photo Center, and the Art Center Sarasota. My images have been published in Italia! Magazine, Hawaii Magazine, Ambassador magazine, and Odet Literary Journal.
